This painting brings together the quiet beauty of bluebells—a symbol of humility, gratitude, and timeless love—with the drifting dandelion seeds carrying our whispered wishes, bathed in the warmth of the late afternoon sun. Together, the bluebells, grounded in the earth, and the wishes, floating through the air, create a balance—one of rootedness and longing, of being present and still daring to dream. On a personal note I’ve always felt there’s something quite magical about bluebells—perhaps it stems from childhood, when our minds were still open to wonder and the idea that fairies might be real.
