Harry on his morning walk

My art is rooted in a lifelong love of nature and the peaceful moments it offers.

Originally from the UK, I spent many of my adult years in Ireland and now live in a small mountain village in Cyprus.

My journey as an artist began in childhood, painting quiet watercolour scenes of the Norfolk countryside. Over time, I’ve explored that love of nature through watercolour, acrylic, and oil—each medium offering something unique in how it captures mood, texture, and light.

My eyes are naturally drawn to the small, intricate details of the natural world. I’m fascinated by the textures, the movement, and the ever-changing palette—from humble wildflowers to the rich variety of grasses that appear in my meadow scenes. I hope my work brings the viewer to a place of peaceful reflection, filling the soul with a sense of calm and joy.

Most mornings, I head out for a walk in the Cyprus mountains with Harry, usually with my camera in hand. I find constant inspiration in these landscapes and during my visits back to the UK and Ireland, capturing moments through the seasons that later find their way into my paintings.

Over the years, I’ve exhibited my work at Green Acres in Wexford, as well as in art centres and venues throughout Southeast Ireland, and more recently in Cyprus. My paintings are now part of private collections around the world—a thought that continues to feel both humbling and special.
